Description

This 19th CENTURY CHINESE LACQUERED SEWING BOX, decorated with COURT SCENES, is fitted with a lift-out tray containing original sewing tools, including a thimble, cotton bobbins, cotton spools and a needle.

The outside has achieved a lovely mellow colour over the years.

There are the usual signs of wear which are to be expected when something has been well used and well loved.
