This is an antique plant stand, an English, Victorian torchere table in mahogany dating to circa 1880.

Attractive dark stained mahogany with a wax polished finish

Well figured galleried platform featuring miniature turned spindles

Raised on a baluster turned pillar decorated with carved acanthus leaves

Central collar fluted with bead trace and ring turning

Anchored in a square, stepped plinth standing upon bun feet
