Description

A small Georgian Regency period English bracket clock. Fine brass inlays to the mahogany case standing on brass bun feet. Cast side handles and surmounted by a pineapple finial. A convex glass and bezel. A painted dial signed 'Thos. Mills, London' with blued steel hands. An 8-day duration timepiece fusee movement.

Thomas Mills of London is recorded in Baillies' Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World' book as working 1817-1824.

Width 7 1/2 " / 19 cms Depth 5 " / 13 cms.
