Smart English Sterling Silver Photograph Frame - 1919

Description

This frame is soon to become a true antique, being 99 years old this year. The perfect addition to either a traditional or contemporary interior, perfect for a lady or gentleman; the frame has a very elegant linear design with an engine-turned border.

The backing is made from solid Oak and has the ever-popular folding easel back stand which allows the frame to be used in both a portrait or landscape configuration; making it the most versatile of frames.

There is a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1919 and the makers initials for the Atkin Brothers (Harry Atkin). Excellent condition with an overall measurement of 8 1/2" x 6" x 1" thick with a glazed aperture measures 7" x 4 1/2".
