Description

A good Victorian walnut and ormolu mounted credenza. Of breakfront form with glazed and bowed end doors. The centre door having burr walnut cross banding with subtle box wood line inlay and a central inlaid boxwood panel. The frieze having further boxwood inlay and the top with book matched figured walnut, thumb moulded and ebonised edge. The whole with subtle gilded brass embellishments and raised on a plinth base with turned ebonised feet. Original faded velvet lining. Fully cleaned and waxed. With working locks and keys.
