Description

An antique Waltham full hunter pocket watch, 1898.

The watch has a stem-wound movement, Export grade, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 8,460,665 dates it back to 1898. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made in England by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The company supplied cases for various watch manufacturers, and had a particularly close working relationship with Waltham. The case is in good condition, just some unevenness to the back. The front of the case has elaborate initials.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The dial is in good condition.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
