Description

A magnificent antique George III oak corner cupboard in good condition with beautiful inlay and mahogany banding. It has a brass escutcheon and brass H-hinges and working lock which comes with a key. To the top is a shaped cornice with marquetry banding, the door front is in a quarter sawn oak with inlay and cross banding and a central paterae inlay. To the interior a three shaped shelves. Dating from circa 1800.

Construction/Wood:

Oak with mahogany cross-banding and exotic wood inlay.

Condition Report:

Good condition. Good colour and patina. Working lock, comes with working key. Later painted interior. Some small scratches to front and other general wear and marks commensurate with age.
