Description

A fabulous English Victorian tea caddy by the most famous of silversmith's, Elkington and Co.

Of ovoid form, the caddy is beautifully engraved with a flush-hinged lid. The underside is fully marked and being Elkington silver plate, we are able to accurately date this piece, the letter U for the year 1880, a true 19th century example.

Excellent condition measuring 4 1/2" x 3 3/8" x 3 1/8" tall.
