Description

Circa 1920-1930 this original Art Deco brass lamp has a very unusual brass shade with three large yellowish faceted glass inserts around the dome and one on the very top. See image 3 for a close up of the shape.

The lamp measures 48cm in total in height and the dome is approximately 30cm across. The central column of the lamp is 28cm and it is on a 15cm triangular base.

The shade slots into position in a brass ring attached to the arms of the lamp. There are tiny holes around the rim suggesting that at one stage the shade may have been screwed into position, however we found this is not necessary.

The lamp has been rewired to UK specifications using flex cable.
