Antique Original Painted French Tavern Center Table Stretcher Base Kitchen Maple

A maple and pine tavern table with red painted legs. The legs are connected by four stretchers which are held in place via four long dowels through the center of the legs. The stretchers have a lovely patina and are very nicely aged and worn through hundreds of years of constant use.
The table features a very deep center dovetailed drawer complete with original lock. The base of the drawer is composed of one large piece of timber and runs from front to back.
We provide shipping to mainland UK (England, Wales and central Scotland) or collection by appointment is welcome. For Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, the Isles or other areas please get in touch for a quote, as these delivery rates for these areas vary.
