George III Oak Cross Banded Dresser Base

18th century
Description

George III oak cross banded dresser base

This George III oak cross banded dresser base was made circa 1820

Having a shaped apron with 3 cabriole legs along the front, and ending on pad feet. Normally on these dressers you only have a leg at each end, but as this is of good length, the cabinet maker added the central leg to add extra support.

The dresser has 3 drawers with brass swing handles with solid brass back plates. The drawers with mahogany cross banding around the edge.

These dressers are fantastic and can be used in so many areas of your home.

We have placed them in kitchens, dining rooms, drawing rooms and hallways, every time they look superb.

We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
