Early Victorian Rosewood Vanity Box. Silver Mounted. 1842

Description

Superb quality early Victorian veneered figured rosewood and mother of pearl inlaid vanity box complete with all its silver mounted fitted bottles, boxes etc. NOTHING MISSING. All hallmarked for Thomas Diller of London for 1842. Box fitted with side drawer for jewelry and with drop down panel within lid to reveal mirror (silvering worn). Comes complete with keys. All in very fine original condition with no damage to fittings, but with a couple of minor veneer repairs to box. As good as you get.
