Description

A Gilt Convex Mirror.

The Regency period gilt convex mirror with a raised concave outer moulding, surrounding a band of large rounded mould, decorated to each quarter with floral edged cartouches, with lattice backgrounds and scrolled shield centres. The inner edge of the frame with raised concave moulding, as per the outer edge. The reeded ebonized slips holding the original convex plate. complete with wood back boards.

Date c 1820.
