1924 Elgin Pocket Watch and Chain

1900 - 1920
Description

1924 Elgin pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 26,949,271 dates it back to 1924.

The watch measures 47mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is white gold filled and is most attractive with decoration to the bezel and the back of the case. There is some surface rubbing to the back but overall the condition is good for such an early piece.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish. There is some marking but it is fairly light. Stylish hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a single chain, 10ct white gold filled, 26cm long including the clasps.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
