Pretty Rare Sized 19th Century Wine Table

Description

In mahogany and dating from the 19th Century this pretty table is a really superb size. Quite rare to find one of this age and of this proportion. The top is 36cms in diameter and sits on a lovely shaped and well detailed pedestal that also sits on the very neat platform base with a trio of small cabriole legs. The top on this table is slightly dished as can be seen in the pictures and we suspect it may not be the original and could be maybe 30 years earlier than the base. Both are between 1800 and 1850 however and certainly a a great match, we suspect you would need to be pretty experienced to even suspect. Cleaned and rewaxed it is ready to sit by your chair and carry the evening glass of port. A lovely example in every way.
