This super quality and unusual BRASS BOUND COROMANDEL STATIONERY BOX is inscribed on the hinge 'HALSTAFF & HANNAFORD, 228 REGENT ST. LONDON', and dates from circa 1850.

The BOX is lined in red leather. It retains its original and fully working hasp, lock and key.

With only two brass studs missing, the BOX and veneers are in good condition.
