The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement by Thommen which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover. There is some surface scratching to this inner cover.

The watch measures 45mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside both of the back cover for London 1923. Unusually the bow also has a full set of hallmarks. The maker's mark on the case is LA, for Louis Arnould who traded as the City Watch Case Company Ltd. The case is in good condition, just one minor indentation to the back.

The glass is in good condition.
The dial is in its original finish with original stylish hands in a blued steel finish, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. There is some darkening to the dial, mainly towards the bottom.
The watch comes in a presentation box from a Tewkesbury jeweller. It is a little untidy on the outside and the silk lid lining has some staining.
