Antique Victorian Burr Walnut Leather Top Writing Table

Description

Antique early Victorian burr walnut writing table in good condition & with plenty of character. It has a faded blackish brown tooled leather writing surface. The top, front & sides are all burr walnut, while the turned fluted legs are solid walnut. The white porcelain casters are also original. The drawers are finely dovetailed & I think the handles are original too. It has a nice original finish to the surface & there are obviously various small indentations & marks that are to be expected for an item dating to around the 1840-60's period.
