The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
Incised model number N117, c.1775. Illustrated in Derby Porcelain by Barrett and Thorpe, plate 91.

It measures 7 1/4" (18.5cm) high, 3 1/4" (8.3cm) wide and 2 3/4" (7cm) deep. Condition is very good: there has been some very good quality restoration to both arms, a very small section of the peach robe and a repaired break to his left leg at the join of the robes. Surface wear is light, one of the small balls on his crown is missing and some rubbing to the gilt band around the base.
