Superb Hand Painted Reticulated French Sevres Style Porcelain Circular Comport, raised on a circular base and four scrolling supports with lavish gilt decoration on a cream ground. First half of the Nineteenth Century.
The square central reserve panel within a gilt and cobalt blue ground, depicting men on horseback with a castle in the distance and cloudy skies above.
Condition: Good condition for such an early piece except for some evidence of small amount of overpainting at back. Mark as per image shown.
Diameter: 9.75" (25cm). Height: 2.75" (7cm).
