Interesting 19th century print of a Jockey by Felician Rops (1833-1898). The print is mounted in an attractive frame and cream surround.

Félicien Rops was a Belgian artist, known primarily as a printmaker in etching and aquatint. He is also noted for his drawings depicting erotic and Satanic themes. Rops is furthermore important for being a pioneer in Belgian comics. Rops was a notable figure in the artworld and as well as having a museum dedicated to his work in Belgium, he also has works in several other museums. There are several detailed biographies on the internet.
