Regency Rosewood Sewing Table. Circa 1815

Description

Attractive Scottish Regency veneered figured rosewood and satinwood banded sewing table of oblong octagonal form. The lift lid revealing sewing compartment. Standing on square tapered legs with satinwood spade toes and united with shaped cross stretcher. All in fine original condition with just a couple of minor edge veneer repairs. Some old and very dead worm to back (treated). Wonderful rich colour with fine waxed patina. Wold make a great lamp table.

Size; 31" high, 18" wide, 14" deep.
