Description

A vintage 1940s silver pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The nicely jewelled movement is stamped made in Switzerland. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back Birmingham 1940 with the case makers mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marks from use and a small "ding" to the outer edge but overall it is in nice condition. The bezel hinge has come detached although the bezel snaps on tight.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
