The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
There is no date mark but the combination of maker and other marks dates them to between c.1797-c.1806. They each bear an engraved royal crest to the side, circular with a thistle inside and a crown on top and "Ayrshire Military" around the outside of the ring.

They measure 6.5 (2 5/8") high, 10cm (4") long and 6cm (2 3/8") wide. They weigh 145g / 4.7ozt. Condition is very good; there are some small surface marks mainly to the feet and a few to the gilding inside one of the salts. The other one has 2 small pin-prick type dints inside the bowl. No other dents, damage or repairs.
