Description

A beautiful and heavy sterling silver box beautifully shaped and standing on four very elegant feet.

A simple design with the border of the lid decorated with a rope design.

The hinged lid opens to reveal a black velvet lined interior, fresh and clean ready for use with a padded base.

The full English hallmark can be found on the underside for Birmingham 1919 together with the makers initials for the silversmith, Hobson, James & Gilby.

Excellent condition measuring 4 3/8" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" tall.
