Antique Georgian Mahogany Chippendale Elbow Desk Chair C1780

Description

This is a very nice antique georgian mahogany elbow chair in the chippendale manner and dating from aorund 1780. It has a serpentine shaped top rail with pierced vase shaped central back splat and with outsplayed arm rests on shaped supports. It has a drop in seat pad that has been recovered some time ago in a faux leather. It stands on squared legs joined by stretchers and is peg joined.

It is in very good condition and with a good colour to the mahogany and original patination.

Measures: 37" high X seat height 17" X 18" deep X 21" wide
