Early C19th William IV period mahogany console or hall table of classical empirical architectural inspiration.

Powerfully-designed Empire style console table raised upon tapering architectural column supports . The shallow frieze below a moulded edge top , the rear ledge with a low moulded profile upstand.

The rear of the table with repeated half profile conforming column supports . The base with a shaped platform and raised on compressed bun feet .

A well-designed and practical scale table of strong form and presence.

The mahogany of an excellent quality and grade , which has achieved a rich patina and lustre. In excellent original condition, with some minor historic water-marks or rings towards to rear of the top. Original polish and finish .
