Description

Very comfortable pair of antique Swedish satin birch with generous proportions, dating from around the 1920’s period & in excellent condition. The frames are beautifully carved under the scroll over arms, down & across the bottom of the frames & they sit on claw & ball feet. The satin birch has that typical silky finish, with light & dark areas. The bold frames are very strong. All the cane work is original & in good condition too. We have just had them re-upholstered in a neutral coloured fabric & the cushions have been generously filled with feathers which give them maximum comfort.
