Superb Antique Georgian Chippendale Mahogany Triple Chair Back Sofa C1780

Description

This is a superb antique george 11 mahogany triple chair back sofa in the chippendale manner and dating from aorund 1780. Constructed form solid mahogany it has triple chair back with three vase shaped supports and with splayed and shaped arms ending with scrolled handrests. It has a drop in seat covered in a quality chenille fabric in keeping with the period and above a deep mahogany frieze and standing on squared legs joined by stretchers.

In lovely condition with a good colour and patination to the mahogany it measures: 37" high X seat height 16" X 21" deep X 53" wide
