Description

A very good Sheraton Revival mahogany wine cooler / cellarette from the renown workshops of Edwards & Roberts. The sarcophagus shaped body having an inlaid lid with satinwood cross banding between ebony and boxwood lines and Sheraton style inlaid corners. The concave shaped edge above a cross banded frieze. The interior retaining the original lead lining and working lock and key. The waisted body having applied square columns and cross banded frieze with brass lions head ring pull handles to the sides. The whole raised on well carved ebonised lions claw feet with sunken brass casters. In good original condition, cleaned and waxed. Dimensions :- Height…17.5’’/ 44cm. Width…22.5’’/ 57cm.
