Unusual Small Arts and Crafts Carver Chair

1900 - 1920
Description

An unusual small Arts and Crafts chair with wonderful style and patination, dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It has curved arms and five stylised spindles on the back. The large dished seat stands on four straight tapering legs.

It is in good condition for its age and has a lovely rich colour and is worn in all the right places. It is a good sturdy chair with no major damages or breakages and it displays very nicely. There are signs of age and use and some light surface scratches on the seat but nothing detrimental.

The chair stands approximately 31" (79cm) high, the seat is 18" (46cm) deep and arm to arm the chair is 19" (48cm) wide.
