Description

A gents 1914 silver Cyma trench watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, signed Cyma, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the screw-on case back for Birmingham 1914, with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison, a prolific case manufacturer based in England who made cases for various watch factories. The case is in good condition for such an early piece with light surface marks and an indentation to the case back.

The bezel is also a screw fitting and the watch glass is in good condition.

The signed white enamel dial has several hairline cracks.

A later strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
