Description

To many, the superlative collectors cabinet by, possibly, the finest maker ever. Thomas gurney was a superb master cabinet maker and during the golden age of collecting in the mid to late victorian era, made cabinets for the connoisseur and gentlemen.

This is a fine example of his work. Fashioned in the finest of solid mahoganys with beautifully figured veneers and in very good condition.

The build quality and design is classic thomas gurney, ebony drawer knobs, inch finish solid mahogany doors, original lock and key, triple hinges to each door, etc, etc.

The drawers have all been side papered and a plastazote base lining laid in.
