Japanese One Piece IVory Okimono Fisherman - Signed

As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this nicely carved Meiji period 1868-1912 Ivory Okimono depicting a fisherman , the artist has used one piece of Ivory and captured the moment this cheerful chap lands his catch , a decent sized Fish , the character holds his Bamboo rod in one hand and carefully carries his catch to shore, waves crash against the rocky outcrop upon which he is stood , this pleasing Okimono is nicely signed in a red seal signature to the underside and would make a great price range gift , or nice addition to your Japanese Okimono or works of art collection .
