Antique Swivel Office Desk Chair

1900 - 1920
Description

A lovely office chair dating from the early 20th Century. It is a good comfortable chair that also swivels. It is very well made and has a nice shape with a curved back and five spindles. It has four legs, terminating in ceramic castors and has the original studded seat cover.

It is approximately 32" (81cm) high and the arms are 23" (59cm) wide across. The seat is approximately 18" (46cm) deep and 16" (41cm) high.

It is in excellent condition for its age. It has developed a lovely aged patina and is structurally very sound. It is not without a few small marks here and there but nothing untoward for a chair of this age. The seat is in good condition with no splits or tears and the mechanism for swivelling is in good working order.
