The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.

The watch itself is a good size for this style at 31mm wide excluding the winding crown and 31mm high excluding the wire lugs. The case is 9 carat rose gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1929, with an importer's mark for Louis Arnould who traded as the City Watch Case Company Ltd. The case has had some repairs over the years, just to rectify where the case has worn. There is a little unevenness to the back.

The lens is in good condition.
The white enamel dial has a faint hairline crack, barely visible to the naked eye, and a small chip to the centre of the subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel hands and an outer minute track.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
