Antique 'The Railway Timekeeper' pocket watch by Matthew Collingwood of Middlesbrough.

The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name Collingwood & Son, a Middlesbrough watchmaker and jeweller. The movement is protected by an inner fitted cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1900 together with the maker's mark for Collingwood. It is in good condition with just a small dent to the hinged case back. The inside of the case back has the name of a former owner, Geo H Lee.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
