Georgian Oak Bow Front Corner Cupboard

Description

An attractive antique George III corner cupboard with barrel front with mahogany, satinwood and ebony banding dating from the late 18th century. It has attractive brass escutcheons and H hinges (replacements) and comes with its original lock and working key. The twin doors are decorated with mahogany banding and open to reveal storage inside with 3 rounded shelves. The top and sides are decorated with ebony and satinwood inlay. A nice slim size, with lovely age and patina, in good original condition.

Construction/Wood:

Oak with mahogany banding

Condition Report:

Good original condition. Original working lock with key. Small section of cornice missing to top left. H hinges are modern solid brass replacements. General cuffs and marks commensurate with age.
