Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The sides are beautifully painted with a design of flowers. The door has an attractive drop handle and opens to reveal storage and a single (removable) shelf. It stands on slim tapered square legs which terminate spade feet, inlaid with satinwood. A really stylish and useful item that would make a great music cabinet, collectors chest, hall unit or shoe cupboard.

In original condition with general age related wear and marks. Some scratches and deep scuffs to the top. The door is slightly warped and sticks out towards the bottom.
