Edwardian Mahogany & Inlaid Tub Chair

Description

A charming antique Edwardian tub chair in a mellow mahogany with inlay to the back and extensive stringing to the legs, arms and front seat rail. The back comprises 3 splats each with central inlay design. It has shaped supports to the arms and stands on slim square tapered legs. It has been newly reupholstered in a cream self-coloured embroidered brocade fabric. Stamped with makers / serial number “A420” underneath seat rail.

Construction/Wood:

Mahogany / beech

Condition Report:

Good condition. Solid and sturdy. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly reupholstered.
