Antique French Mahogany Cabinet C1920

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a lovely French cabinet made from mahogany in C1920. It is in the form of a semanier but the front is in fact a solid door which opens to reveal shelves for filing paper.

Each dummy drawer has a brass surround and the feet have brass caps and there is a very pretty gilded brass gallery on the top. It still retains its original lock and key. There is a little bit of damage to the polish on the top which can be seen in the image. It is also polished on all sides which is a lovely mark of quality.
