Description

A 19th C. Mahogany Card Table.

The top with an inset band of Amboyna inlaid, following the profile of the top.

The facing edges of the top crossbanded and inlaid with ebony stringing.

The top hinged and opening to a baize playing surface, within a crossbanded border.

The frieze with break front blocks for the legs, the lower edge of the frieze finished with a double reeded bead.

The table standing on ring-turned and reeded legs, tapering to a rounded and ring foot.

The two rear legs with a gate action to support the playing surface when open.

Height: 20 in, Width, 35 in, Depth, 12.5 in.
