Very Special Sterling Silver and Tortoise Shell Photograph Frame

Description

A really super frame, this one has it all, and English solid or sterling silver casing, a glossy tortoiseshell matting which is intricately inlaid with delicate silver pique work.

The silver is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1915. The tortoiseshell has the most amazing colourings from golden champagne to rich chocolate brown with a wonderful glossy polished finish.

The front is glazed to protect your favourite picture, the aperture measuring 3" in diameter.

Standing on a solid Oak easel back, the frame is in superb condition measuring 5" in diameter.
