Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
It has a platinum case surrounded by diamonds and then baguette diamonds to the shoulders and then more diamonds to the bracelet which simply glides around the wrist and is very much of the Art Deco era in design.
The mesh bracelet fringed with semi articulated diamonds for a comfortable fit is marked as platinum.
As you would expect from Bucherer the diamonds are bright, crisp and evenly matched and has the total weight is approximately 3.5cts, the sparkle they generate is just stunning and it is heavy.
It fits a maximum wrist size of 6.25 inches or 160mm and the case is 11mm in diameter not including the winding crown.
It comes with a premium quality wooden presentation box.
It is quite stunning with a white dial which has been professionally restored so is in perfect condition. A new glass has been fitted and it has been cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.
The original hand winding movement was beyond repair so we have replaced it a high quality ETA quartz movement which comes with a 2 year warranty and free batery changes.

This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
