A Georgian Chippendale style tea caddy. Mahogany with a canted top and brass swan neck pull. Correct hinges brass lock and typical moustash shaped escutcheon. Shaped moulding to the skirt with bracket feet. One foot at the rear has been replaced but almost unnoticeable. the interior has been lined in velvet probably in Victorian times. The photographs show the condition well.
22.5 cm wide 13 cm deep and 14.5 cm high.
