Description

A 19th Century Bergere Chair, Library Chair.

The slightly curved back with reeded decoration, sweeping downward to the arms, complete with elbow pads. The arms supported by downward and outward tapering fluted columns, finished with ring collars. The chair with reeded tapering legs, finished with ring collars, and brass castors. The frame with bergere cane work, and buttoned leather cushions.

Date c 1860.
