Description

A highly decorative Chinoiserie George I Style cocktail cabinet on stand. The upper cabinet section having fine raised gold lacquered and polychrome detail depicting an oriental landscape with engraved brass strap work hinges and lock plate. Opens to reveal a shelved and mirrored interior with a sliding preparation shelf and with further lacquered detail to the ends. The lower stand section finely carved in gilt-wood and gesso relief with a central scalloped shell cartouche, the whole supported on acanthus carved cabriole supports with pad feet. English circa 1900 George I Style of 1730

Dimensions: 36" wide x 20" deep x 64" high

Condition: This cabinet is in fine original condition, a good colour and patination
