Description

A truly superb Sofa Table, made from Rosewood and somewhere around Switzerland or the German Alps. The marquetry is amazing and the central panel depicts a storey of a Goat Herder in the mountains. The 2 side flaps lift up and each flap has 2 supports that swing out. There is a central drawer to the front, apart from the drawer the front and back are identical so this can be free standing in a room. The base is carved from solid Rosewood and is of excellent quality.

This is a very fine piece of furniture and a very usual size for the home. We have re finished it to a very high standard so in excellent condition.
