Small George II Walnut Bureau. Circa 1740

Description

Fine and very small George II veneered figured walnut bureau with feathered fall and cross-banded oak lined drawers and having a fully fitted interior. All in superb original condition except period replacement handles. All original locks (bar one) and original brass escutcheons. Original feet. Only a couple of small veneer repairs. Wonderful honey colour with lovely waxed patina. ONLY 27" WIDE.

Size; 27" wide, 35" high, 17" deep. Height to fall open 27".
