Early Oak Carved Gun Chest. Circa 1670

17th century
Description

Fine late 17th. century oak six plank gun chest with chip carved edges to top and superbly originally carved arcaded front and standing on plain side legs. Iron lock plate missing and has been filled with carved wood piece a long time ago. Original pin hinges. Wonderful honey colour with great waxed patina.
